MEMORIAL DAY UPDATE: We will be open on May 25, 2020 for dosing in both locations.

Due to coronavirus outbreak, the following schedule changes have been placed:

 

New Brunswick Location

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM -4:00 PM

Dosing Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

*No evening dosing hours will be provided at this time.

*We will be closed on Saturdays through the month of May 2020.

*Current schedule is subject to change based on ongoing assessment of the current outbreak.

 

Burlington Location

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 6:00 – 2:00 PM

Dosing Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM

*Closed Saturday & Sunday.

Our main concern is always the health and welfare of our patients, their families, and our team. In order to help flatten the curve with the spread of coronavirus while continuing to provide our services, please be advised that the following measures are being implemented:

  • We will temporarily provide additional take-home doses to individuals who meet state and federal guidelines. Please bring your lockboxes and photo-id at all times.
  • Patients should make other arrangements for childcare when attending the clinic. No children will be allowed in the clinic, unless absolutely unavoidable.
  • Any patients who are in crisis or need immediate assistance, counselors will continue to provide support and counseling via telephone. Please contact us at 609-267-3610 to speak to your counselor or at 732-246-4025 for any medical or dosing concerns.
  • For all new admissions, please contact our office at 609-267-3610.

New Brunswick Counseling Center and Burlington Comprehensive Counseling is a CARF-accredited outpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment center with two clinics located in Burlington and New Brunswick, New Jersey. Since our founding in 1970, our team of dedicated staff has remained committed to delivering courteous treatment to all patients.

In an effort to increase drug abatement effectiveness in the state of New Jersey, Governor Christie signed bills into law in April 2015. Here at the New Brunswick Counseling Center, our medical clinic provides a full range of mental health and drug counseling services. Clients are assigned to licensed clinicians here in New Brunswick, New Jersey. With the help of experienced professionals in our outpatient counseling services, individuals and families work to build healthy relationships and satisfying lives. Whether the problems are temporary or persistent, we are here to help. Our staff includes a multidisciplinary team of medical, psychological, and social workers with an eclectic philosophy on the treatment and counseling of patients.

Our Mission


The Mission of New Brunswick Counseling Center and Burlington Comprehensive Counseling is to provide comprehensive, evidence-based, integrated mental health and substance abuse treatment services. Services are individualized and provided in an outpatient setting for prevention, early intervention, and treatment of people with mental health, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders. Our program provides access to substance abuse and mental health services addressing the bio-psycho-social consequences associated with substance use and dependence. Our treatment services are not restricted to people from a specific geographic area.

Our History

 
Founded in the early 1970s, New Brunswick Counseling Center became a private, nonprofit agency in 1982. Today, the New Brunswick Counseling Center is fully staffed to treat people with mental health, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders. The New Brunswick Counseling Center is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is licensed by the State Department of Human Services to provide outpatient treatment for substance abuse and mental health disorders.
